I update the name change kit every 1-8 weeks. More often during the middle of the year when government departments tend to release new forms, and less over the summer period where nothing seems to change. Most of the time I'm notified of a change by an organisation and when I am, I update the kit the same day. Regardless, I get on the phone and send off lots of emails monthly just to check that everything is up to date!

If there has been a change to a form, you don't need to do anything. The links in your manual will redirect to the updated forms automatically.
If there has been a change to a process and I have updated the manual, you can download the new manual by using the email you received after your purchase. Downloading your kit again will give you the most recent and updated version.
At this point in time, we only offer the downloadable kit. We used to sell a hard copy name change kit that you could have sent to you, but it isn’t a very cost effective option and there were issues with making sure all of our customers were receiving and using the most updated forms. Particularly when some brides ordered the name change kit but then didn't get around to finishing changing their name for a few months! It is a lot more cost effective for you to download and print out your own kit. If you don’t have access to a printer, Officeworks (or other printing companies) will print out your kit for you a lot cheaper than it would be for us to print it and send it to you.

Yes he can! The name change kit can be used for you and your husband if you are both changing your name. And you only need one kit, not one each.
As long as you are an Australian citizen, yes, you can use this kit if you were married in Australia OR overseas.
If your marriage has been registered with your Australian state’s registry of births, deaths and marriages then this name change kit will enable you to change your name in Australia, but it does not cover the process for changing your name in your country of citizenship.
This kit has been designed for Australian residents, so if you are not an Australian citizen AND were married outside of Australia, I’m afraid this kit won’t be a lot of use to you.
We pay other companies to make sure our website and your purchase is as secure as it can possibly be. PayPal and Stripe processes all of our payments and they have secure purchasing and download pages. We never get to see your credit card number or any of your private details – just your name, email address and IP address!
Unfortunately payment by credit card or Paypal are our only payment options at this time. If you have a PayPal account you can organise payment via bank transfer.
You will need to use another credit card or contact PayPal to see what is going on. PayPal is our credit card processor and unfortunately I don’t have access to their software to find out why they don’t like your card or what is going wrong. You can call them direct on (02) 8223 9500. It’s also a good idea to contact your credit card provider to make sure your card hasn’t reached its limit or been cancelled.
