You will need to use an app that allows you to view PDFs. You can use iBooks, Adobe Reader or Documents, all free from the app store. I'm sure there are others that you may already have on your device.
Basic information about printing from an ipad / iphone can be found here. You can always download the kit onto your computer as well and print from there.
